ACCESSING THE USER MENU

In order to use these special options you must first enter your code. All the operations discussed below start

from the text ‘Arm Menu’.

In a system with time/date display

Go to the keypad. The current time and date are displayed.

In a system with status display

The current status of the areas is shown in the display. Both

areas are disarmed.

Enter your code

Press the 0 key and then enter your code. A ‘*’ appears in

the display for every key you press. Use the 0 key to cancel

an incorrect entry.

Making a selection

After entering your code, you will see one of the following ‘selection’ displays. Which message you get

depends on which one the installer programmed:

1. The system lists the status of each area, one display per area.

You can immediately enter the area number you want to access. If

Area 1 Armed

you do not enter a number, the standby display will reappear.

Area 2 Disarmed

Enter Area No.

2. The system lists the status of all the areas (underscore scrolls

underneath the numbers). If there are more than four areas, they

will be shown in a second display. You can immediately enter the

area number you want to access. If you do not enter a number, the

standby display will reappear.

This is the first menu option from which you can make a selection

for area 1. You can move from here to the special options.
